Meet the Holmgren family!

I had such a great time photographing this adorable family. Little Grace recently turned one and in honor of the occasion her parents wanted to capture some photos of her and them. I met her mom Heather and little Grace in a mommy and me class with my youngest and was lucky enough to photograph Grace before when she was about 6 months old. Corbett & Alejandra's Wedding!

Congratulations Corbett and Alejandra! This easy going couple was married at Beginnings in Briceland, California. Their friends and family were all there to help celebrate their special day and you could really feel the love from everyone. The weather wasn't very nice in the beginning of the day, but later the sun came out giving us some great clouds in the background of their photos. This adorable 6 month old belongs to Brenda and Ignacio, a fun couple I had the pleasure of photographing in Maui two years ago! I had a wonderful time photographing little Jacob and his mommy during the holiday season in southern California. His nursery provided a great place to start at and he was so much fun to work with! Tracy & Benny's Trash The Dress Session!

Meet Tracy and Benny!

This amazing couple is no stranger to my blog posts. I first introduced this fun couple in June when Amber and I photographed their engagement session and then their wedding in July. This time I was lucky enough to photograph their Trash the Dress Session! Trash the dress sessions are a fun way for a bride to get another chance to wear her dress and take some amazing photos in unique and unusual locations. Sometimes brides will do this and not get their dress dirty, this time we got it- and the bride and groom muddy and wet! Kim and I had an amazing time working with this wonderful couple, we started photographing in Arcata Plaza and then moved onto Warren Creek Pumpkin patch located in the Arcata bottoms and then later splashed around Trinidad State Beach. In the end we were all wet, muddy, and of course cold, but we all had a really fun time!
