Rich & Morgan Engagement Session!

Saturday Lisa and I had the great pleasure in photographing Rich and Morgan's engagement session! We had a glorious time with this amazing couple! We began our day in the outskirts of Loleta and then traveled into town and photographed at the old Humboldt Creamy located near the Loleta Cheese factory. Morgan and Rich are such a happy loving couple and we can't wait to work with them again this August for their wedding! Sarah & Brent's Wedding

Congratulations to Sarah and Brent who were married at the Fortuna Riverlodge! What an amazing day we had photographing this happy couple! This lovely couple and their bridal party had amazing energy and we truly had a blast working with them! New Website & Bridal Fair!

I've been working on updating my old website and I'm proud to say it will be ready tomorrow! The website is still mmreflections.com it just has a whole new look to it and new images! Please do send me a comment and let me know what you think of the site!

WPPI Recap

Wow what an amazing time I had at the WPPI convention in Vegas! I met so many amazing people, attended outstanding speaker presentations and of course had some fun at some wild parties! I had a fabulos time with my roomates, especial with Lisa, & Erin who are also Brooks graduates! Lisa works with John Solano who was speaking at WPPI along with Brian Marcus. Brian is a 3rd generation photographer after his father and his grandfather in New York and John is a well known wedding photographer based out of Los Angeles. I had such a wonderful time chatting with them both, they are truly amazing people! I ran into a few old friends of mine from Brooks, OSP and I ran into Jose Villa!

Jose is also an amazing photographer and person! I had the pleasure of photographing with him last year at the OSP conference in San Luis Obispo. One of Jose's images was recently choosen to be the cover of PDN (Photo Disctric News) Magazine! Congrats Jose! I met so many other amazing people and listend to so many speakers that there's just too many names to name, but I defiantly left Vegas with a lot of wonderful information for my photography business and I'm defiantly excited about this year! I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend, I just wanted to let you all know about a few upcoming events! I will be attending the WPPI wedding photographers convention in Las Vegas March 16th-20th. The convention is being held at the Bally’s and Paris hotels! I’m so thrilled to be able to attend and network with other photographers from around the world! I’m also anxious to hear from the many different speakers and of course check out the latest products offered by the hundreds of different photography vendors that will be at the tradeshow.
I also wanted to let you all know about an upcoming Bridal fair! Blue Lake Casino will be hosting a Bridal Fair Sunday April 6th from 10:00am-4:00pm. I will be there as well as other wedding vendors, so please make plans to stop by and check out my great offers I will be having that day!

Casey & Ginger Engagement Shoot!

Recently I had a engagement shoot with Casey & Ginger, a fun loving couple that are getting married July 12th of this year! We photographed at College Cove Beach in Trinidad, CA. Amber and I had a great time working them with them at this amazing location! The weather was nice enough to put the rain on hold for us and provided some great clouds for the beautiful skies! Photographer's Forum 28th Annual Photography Contest

I just wanted to share some exciting news with you all! Photographer's Forum Magazine recently hosted their 28th Annual Photography Contest and I received "Honorable Mention!" YEA! Today I received a copy of their Winter 2007 magazine issue and on page 16, my name is listed as Honorable Mention for a color image! I feel so blessed to receive another Honorable mention after being published in last years Best of Photography 2007 Annual! I submitted a few of my favorite colored wedding images from weddings I photographed last year and will be notified at a later date as too which image will be published in the 2008 Annual. Once I know I'll post that image here to for you to view! Hope you all have a terrific weekend!
