Serenity & Matthew's Wedding

Congratulations to Serenity & Matthew! This amazing couple held their wedding and ceremony at a family farm near Avenue of the Giants. It was such a beautiful setting Jan and I had a wonderful time working with them and their fun bridal party! The weather was perfect and the sun flower garden provided a beautiful background to take photos against. Serenity looked absolutely stunning in her wedding dress. The reception was catered by Lauren of Comfort of Home Catering and their wedding cake made by Sarah of Calla Lily Cakes and was not only beautiful, but tasty too! Shelley & Gary's Wedding

Meet Shelley & Gary!

This couple traveled to Humboldt County from Texas in search of the perfect location in the Redwoods to be married at! I had a wonderful time photographing their private ceremony in Prairie Creek's State Park the giant redwoods trees made a beautiful backdrop for their ceremony. Afterwards we headed down to Trinidad State Beach to capture some more photos of the two newlyweds. Shelley's stunning bouquet was made by Flora Organica Designs.

Crystal & Jason's Wedding

Congratulations to Crystal and Jason! This amazing couple was married at the Fortuna River Lodge surrounded by their friends and family! Their theme of butterflies where everywhere, from the monarch butterflies that were released after the first kiss, to the butterfly decals on the bottom of the brides shoes. Jan and I had a wonderful time working with Crystal and Jason again. This amazing couple is getting married in March in Arcata and I can't wait to work with them again! Amber and I had a wonderful time photographing this fun couple at College Cove beach in Trinidad! The rain had been pretty crazy that whole week and that morning so I worried we wouldn't be able to get some shots, but luckily the rain stopped and it provided us with some spectacular clouds in the background at Elkhead!
