Recent Portrait Sessions

May is almost over and boy have I been busy!! So busy that I'm behind in my blogging of all my recent portrait sessions! To help play catch up here is a blog of two different portrait sessions that I did of little Ewan and another of his cousins Hunter and little Quinton. I met their parents at the 2nd Chance Prom I photographed in Ellensburg in April. These adorable kiddies were great models for some of my latest props I've purchased! Tirado Family Session

Meet the Tirado family! This adorable family and I have worked together many times before, and it all started with little Violet when her mom was pregnant with her and I took Angie's Maternity photos. I love being able to watch my clients children grow and capture those precious development stages of their lives! This lovely couple is getting married this May in Yakima, Washington. I had started my wedding season back in February, but this was my first engagement session of 2011 in Washington and I was really looking forward to working with them! My Skater-Son Julian

Meet my skater-boy, my son Julian!I felt like photographing something for myself, something fun and decided to take my 9yr old out for a photo shoot! We've been decorating his bedroom with a skateboarding theme, so I thought why not take a few shots of him on his board and create a poster for his wall? We set out with his skateboard and my new wide angle lens in tow and photographed at two different locations in Yakima. It was fun photographing him and seeing his shyness at first, turn to excitement! He asked if we could do it again and I think we will, next time at the skatepark. I asked him if it was ok to share with everyone and he said yes, so here are the images of the best skateboarder I know, my son Julian. Enjoy!
